The Beatles' seventh album, recorded at EMI Studios in London between April and June 1966 with George Martin producing, and released by Parlophone that August. It was their last recording project before they stopped touring. "Eleanor Rigby" has a string octet as its only backing, and "Tomorrow Never Knows" uses a collage of tape loops. This LP carries the 2022 stereo mix by Giles Martin and Sam Okell.
