Why it is here

The HD 600, HD 650 and HD 6XX all take the same two-pin cable, and Sennheiser ships it with a single-ended plug. This is Sennheiser's own replacement cable with that plug cut off and a balanced one put on in its place, so it fits the headphone the way the original does and it plugs into the balanced output on your amp. Pick 4-pin XLR for most desktop amps, 4.4mm for newer portable players and compact amps, and 2.5mm for older players. It keeps Sennheiser's length.
