Why it is here

The Poet uses the MZ6 driver, weighs 405 g against the Empyrean II's 449, and at 101 dB into 55 ohms it will play properly off sources the bigger Meze planars struggle with. What you give up is the larger driver and the collection of pads. If you have two thousand dollars and no amplifier yet, this is the headphone that leaves you room to buy one.
How it is built

Rinaro Isodynamic Hybrid Array MZ6 with Parus diaphragm at 0.06 g, 3,507 mm² active area, fibreglass reinforced polymer casing, detachable magnetic ear pads. Ships with a 2.5 m hand-braided Furukawa PCUHD copper cable terminated 6.3 mm, plus a leather cable pouch and an ABS case.
