Why it is here

ALBA and ALBA S are the same earphone. The only difference is that this one includes Meze's own USB-C adapter with a DAC and amplifier built into it, and the S does not. So the decision is simple. If your phone has no headphone socket and you do not already own a dongle you like, the thirty dollars is the cheapest good one you will find. If you already have a dongle, buy the S and keep the difference.
What it is for

A first proper in-ear. Phone listening without a headphone socket. Travel.
