Specifications
  • Type Open-back dynamic
  • Driver 50 mm, bio-cellulose composite dome
  • Impedance 42 ohms
  • Sensitivity 112 dB SPL/mW at 1 kHz
  • Weight 336 g
  • Pads Velour
Why it is here

A 50mm dynamic with a dual membrane, PEEK and carbon-fibre-reinforced cellulose, in an ABS housing rather than the walnut one step up. At 42 ohms and 112 dB it runs properly off a phone, which matters more at this price than at any other, because most people buying here are not also buying an amplifier. It is open-backed, so it leaks in both directions. Worth knowing before you take it to an office.
What it is for

A first open-back. Desk listening at home. Anyone who wants Meze's build without Meze's flagship price.
