Why it is here

The Red4 is a Green4 with a different stylus. Same molded body, 6 grams all in, the same 4 mV out, and Grado's spec sheet for the two matches line for line, elliptical diamond on an aluminium cantilever included.

The stylus carries a red dot and pulls out in one piece when it's worn. Grado prices the Red4 between the Green4 and the Gold4 without publishing a figure that separates them.
How it is built

Moving iron, Grado's flux-bridger generator, in a molded body with a silver side plate. Elliptical diamond on an aluminium cantilever, 5N OCC copper coils, 6 grams.
What it is for

A moving magnet phono input, and an arm that takes either fitting: P-mount where the cartridge plugs in and is held by one screw, standard mount where it bolts on with two.
