Three microphones on one stand in a T: left and right 2 m apart and the center mic 1 m forward, the layout Decca's engineers developed in the 1950s. Positions read off centimeter scales on the tubes and angles off 5 degree scales on the holders, so a setup can be written down and put back. The regular version comes with a stand mount for a 5/8-27 mic stand. The heavy duty version comes with the SB-SMA-HD, which sits on a lighting stand's baby pin or in a junior socket and is much stronger.
