Fender Blues Junior IV, 15W 1x12 Valve Combo

It powers up and sounds good. Played, not bench tested: nobody has put a meter on it.

Chassis and power supply. Current production and nowhere near the age where a recap is a question. Nothing owed.

Tubes. Age unknown. They work. Whether they are the ones it left the factory with is not something we can tell you.

Speaker. Believed to be the stock Celestion A-Type. Ask before you buy if a swap would change your mind.

Cabinet. Tolex and corners carry the marks of an amp that has been carried to places. That wear is what puts it at 7 rather than higher. Controls and jacks all work.

The amplifier and its mains lead. No cover and no footswitch.

The Blues Junior is the most borrowed amp in America for a reason. Fifteen watts through a twelve is the smallest thing that still sounds like a proper Fender in a room with a drummer, and the IV is the version where Fender finally sorted the reverb and the preamp voicing.

It is a current model, so you can buy a new one for around eight hundred dollars. This is half that, and the difference is cosmetic wear and a warranty.

Nothing exotic here. It is a good working amp at a fair number.

Pickup only. We are not shipping instruments yet, so this one is bought here: 215 East Lewis Street, third floor, Livingston, by appointment.

Right for rehearsal, small rooms, and recording where you want the amp to do the work rather than a pedal. Right as a first valve amp.

Not right if you need clean headroom at volume. Fifteen watts through a single twelve starts breaking up earlier than a Twin, which is the point of it and also its limit.
