Bruce Springsteen: Born in the U.S.A.

Springsteen's seventh album, recorded with the E Street Band in New York between January 1982 and March 1984, at the Power Station and the Hit Factory. Several songs, the title track among them, began on the same Colts Neck demo tape that became Nebraska. The sessions produced somewhere between 70 and 90 songs. Columbia released seven singles from it, and all seven reached the US top ten.
